YOGA NIDRA
Yoga Nidra is often referred to as the “yogic sleep”.
It’s a technique that creates deep relaxation in the body. Yoga Nidra is practiced lying down, not including any physical movements. Only by following my words and instructions, you’re guided into a sleep like condition although the mind stays awake. The practice of Yoga Nidra takes around 40 minutes and equals the positive effects of two hours of restorative sleep.
The combination of meditation, self hypnosis, mental training and progressive muscle relaxation has multiple positive effects: letting go of muscular, emotional and mental tension, relieving stress and anxiety, improving sleep quality, training the mind, enhancing memory and learning capacity, increasing energy levels, promoting creativity, improving body awareness, restoring the body and mind from within.
